Wasatch Blooms
Wasatch Blooms
A Salt Lake Urban Flower Farm

The birds carry the melody, bees hum in rhythm, and the breeze lifts the scent of soil and fragrant blooms and fill my lungs with the song of the Earth.

When the sun warms my back and the flowers dance in rhythm to the breeze, I can’t help but feel the Earth is singing.

I love to sit and listen to a garden's song.

I grow flowers to be sustainable, to support local ecosystems and regenerate the soil. I grow intensively on an urban lot and mix market gardening with permaculture ethics. I grow beneath and beside an inherited crabapple tree that blooms the most vibrant fuchsia in the Spring, and I grow alongside the community at the Petersen Family Farm in Riverton, UT.

So when you pick up your market bouquet and you smell the flowers and breeze and the bumble bee, and you know you can breathe them in deeply.

Wasatch Blooms is aligned with the seasons. In Spring and Summer the focus is on outward growth, filling our senses with the sight, smell, and texture of flowers. In Autumn and Winter a shift is made to focus on internal growth, holding the memories of warmth and velvet flowers in our hearts.

The Wasatch Blooms Flower CSA is currently sold out for the 2019 season. Please check back in November for when registration opens for the 2020 season.

The 2019 Flower season has ended. Flowers by the Bucket will be available again May 2020.

Thank you for your support of local seasonal flowers! Flowers by the Bucket is perfect for the moments you want to bring a greater sense of magic to such as the DIY bride, birthday or anniversary parties, and corporate events. In a Growers choice bucket you will find 60-75 stems of flowers and greenery of what is currently in season. This often includes snapdragons, zinnias, scabiosa, basil, 2-4” dahlias, sunflowers, and more. It is growers choice for colors but I am happy to follow a color scheme or exclude certain colors if asked. You can find the range of colors growing this year on instagram. Orders must be received no later than 2 weeks before your pick-up date which you will select at check-out.

I am a seasonal flower farm and flowers are available from the end of May to the first of October.
