Wasatch Blooms is located in Paradise, UT in Cache County.
If you are interested in working on a flower farm, learning the ins and outs of cut flower production, are passionate about growing and working in the dirt, we want to hear from you. See below for what positions we are looking for.
Flower Farm Hand
Wasatch Blooms is looking for someone who
Has a background in horticulture
Self-motivated
Adaptable to unexpected situations
Eager to learn and willing to ask for help
Excited about flower production
Proactive in problem solving
Engaged with working on a farm and understands that farm work is sweaty, dirty, happens in the rain or in the heat, and stinks a bit.
Farm tasks include
Planting seeds, plugs, and tubers
Assist with farm upkeep and maintenance
Weed control
Harvesting 2-4 times a week
Assist with making market bouquets
Managing irrigation
Organization and management of farm equipment
Be able to lift 50lbs
Potential of working Saturday Farmers Markets
The interview process will begin mid-March and will include a phone interview as well as a paid onsite working interview.
Start date is around early to mid April with 15-30 hours a week from 6am-12pm 3-5 days a week depending on farm needs.
Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.
Pay rate is $15-$20 an hour depending on experience.

Seasonal Harvester
Wasatch Blooms is looking for someone who is

Farm tasks include
Harvest early morning hours or late evening hours
Weeding control
Carrying buckets of flowers to and from the cooler
washing buckets
The interview process will begin mid-April and will include a phone interview as well as a paid onsite working interview, weather depending
Start date is around mid-May with 15-20 hours a week with scheduled early morning hours during the summer for 2-5 days a week depending on farm needs.
Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.
Pay rate is $10 an hour.

Delivery Driver
Wasatch Blooms is looking for a delivery driver who:
Has valid drivers license
Has clean driving record
Over the age of 20
Follow best practice for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading delivery van
Good time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
Physical ability to load and unload delivery van
Be able to lift 50 lbs
Obtain client or customer signatures when needed
Maintain client order records and invoices
Deliveries are made two times a week to Salt Lake County from May to September. Hours are expected to be 15-20 hours a week with two delivery days a week.
Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.
Pay rate is $15 an hour.
